Hi,

Today I start to connect Galileo with my PC, which is Win7SP1 Enterprise, 64-bit, the same problem occur for being not able to launch arduino IDE. Thank for @marchanjo's solution to change "Format" from 'Chinese, (Traditional, Taiwan)' to 'English (United States)', then arduino IDE can launch.
