If this is not fixed for windows users over the months spanned by this thread, I fear there is little hope for linux users in the foreseeable future. I have retired my NUC to office use while this is figured out.
While I am feeling annoyed, what's up with these Jive(?) forums?? Jaysus. I get all kinds of SSL errors in Chrome, and have to resort to firefox to log in or download drivers, not to mention the bizarre lack of being able to log in via facebook/google etc. That's bad PR when the forums don't even work reliably as you're trying to report an issue about something else, that, coincidentally enough, also doesn't work.
