What version of Intel Smart Connect are you guys using and did you get it from Intel or Lenovo? I think I may have pinned down the source of the problem and it will be incredibly dumb on Intel and Lenovo's parts for not being able to give us an answer if that's what it is. I updated to the latest version of Smart Connect from the Intel site and my issues with the wifi card not returning properly from sleep seem to have vanished. I'll continue testing, but I've been bringing the laptop back from sleep all day and have yet to have any problems with the wifi. Previously I had a version of Smart Connect I had gotten from Lenovo System Update (probably the same one that's on the Lenovo website for the T440p). It would also make sense why Intel can't reproduce the issue. In their testing, they're probably using the latest version of Smart Connect. I had no idea what smart connect even did. Apparently it controls the wifi while the laptop is asleep. If it's that critical to properly functioning wifi, why is Smart Connect not rolled into the wifi drivers? Also if it's that critical, why is Lenovo not distributing a proper updated version of the driver for it? They're losing customers by distributing bad/outdated drivers.
