I have a problem similar to one that others have expressed on Intel discussion forums, but I have not yet seen an answer. On my computer (Asus UX 31A), the WiDi software connects with the wireless device, but the image on the HDTV freezes after a few seconds and will not re-start. However, the computer cursor movement continues to be visible on the HDTV, and the computer sound continues to come through on the HDTV. For devices, I have tried both Belkin Screencast and IOGEAR GWAVR, and the same thing happens on each. I have two of these Asus computers, and each has the same problem. The WiDi software, Windows 7-64, and the graphics and wireless drivers are all up to date. I have been trying to find an answer for this issue for several months since it first happened after updating WiDi. I have tried going back to previous WiDi and driver versions, without any satisfactory results. Many thanks to anyone who can help.
